Best known for his songs “Words” and “4evermore,” Anthony David Harrington is an R&B singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer.
Born in Savannah, Georgia on December 4, 1971, Anthony eventually settled in Atlanta to engage himself in the music industry. Through his efforts, he met fellow R&B singer India.Arie, resulting in a longtime friendship between the two, and Anthony even writing the song “Part of My Life” for her debut album Acoustic Soul, as well as later co-writing and co-producing “There’s Hope” for her third album Testimony, Volume 1: Life & Relationship.
Anthony’s first two albums, 3 Chords & The Truth and The Red Clay Chronicles, were independently released through Brash Music in 2004 and 2006 respectively. They generated him enough attention to earn a recording deal with Universal Republic, who combined songs from both projects for his 2008 major label debut Acey Duecy (named after his nickname, Ace Deuce).
He has went on to release three more studio albums and one cover album, each becoming more and more contemporary in their overall sound while his distinct soulful vocals remain the same.
