Harun Ceylan (Born August 23, 1992) better known as Anoly is a Dane English rapping artist.
He was born in 1992 in Denmark, Copenhagen but is originally from Turkey. He has made 140 songs in total since 2007. He published a 10 song album in 2015 called “Hundige” and started the “Broskies” cooperation with Lesotho’s most respected producer Carbon Casca the same year.
Anoly has never got voice practice or lessons but learned rapping and singing by listening to artists and singing along. He came from a nonviolent home and had a really good childhood.
In 2007 Anoly started experimenting with his voice and a microphone he bought for 12 USD. For the first time he opened his mouth he knew this was what he wanted to do. In 2008 he discovered a software called “Autotune” which he got impressed by right away. Anoly didn’t start rapping till 2010 because he wanted to sing and not rap but that changed quickly because he got caught up by rap as soon as he started rapping. He promised himself that he wouldn’t swear in his songs and didn’t do it till 2014 which means he didn’t swear for 4 years.
In 2014 he decided to call himself “Anonymous” because he didn’t want to show his face as an artist. After a couple of months as “Anonymous” on Facebook his account got closed down because Facebook thought he represented the hacker group “anonymous”. So Anoly decided to make another account and found out he couldn’t call himself “Anonymous” anymore so he shortened it to Anony which later turned into Anoly and the name “Anoly” was born.
In 2015 he decided to make an international song with rappers around the globe so he started writing in groups if anybody wanted to be on a song with him. This was where Anoly met Carbon Casca for the first time and a couple months later Carbon and Anoly started chatting on Facebook and talked about going together as a group. They both loved the idea and in one sentence Carbon called Anoly “Broskie” and both decided it was a good name and that’s where Broskies came to life.
