Angie Keilhauer (born July 19, 1991) is a Nashville-based singer songwriter. The El Salvador-born and Georgia-raised country artist records under the moniker Angie K.
Angie emigrated from El Salvador to the United States at age 11 and began to pursue music while at Georgia Tech. There she balanced a job, school and performing, which soon became overwhelming. In the madness of balancing her life, Angie realized that music was her true passion and dropped out of school, quit her job and became a cruise ship singer. “It forced me to focus completely on what I love to do, singing four hours a day, six days a week, five months at a time. That contract is what finally gave me the savings to buy a better car and PA system. I’ve been a full-time touring artist ever since and never looked back.”
Angie rose to fame when she became a finalist on NBC’s The Voice during its tenth season in 2016. Since then, the Latin American country singer has independently released two original albums, both of which landed top five on iTunes, and played over 1000+ high energy shows all over the US and Central America opening for country greats Tanya Tucker, Jordan Davis, Chris Janson, Sammy Kershaw, Jake Owen and more.
