Raeen Roes Wilson also known “Angel Haze” is a rapper and singer from Detroit, Michigan.
With her father’s leave of absence, and a mother’s trapping in a Christian cult, Her childhood was punctured with sexual abuse. On the path to adopting her own moniker, she put out one of her most-viewed covers “Cleaning Out My Closet,” describing that abuse.
Angel’s mixtapes King and Reservation, put her on the map, leading up to the release of her debut album Dirty Gold. Angel was then chosen to be apart of the XXL Freshman Class of 2013.
On September 14, 2015, she released Back to the Woods, independently.
On March 11, 2018, Angel Haze announced her name transition to ROES, marking a new chapter in her career.
