Angel (Band)

Angel is an American glam metal band, discovered by Gene Simmons of Kiss in the 1970s, and set up as a sort of anti-Kiss, band of white and goodness.

While this gimmick didn’t net them the success of their labelmate, the quality of their music garnered them a cult following that lasts to this day.

Their success includes ongoing heavy AOR play of the tracks Tower and Rock and Rollers.

Founder Greg Guiffria went on to pop metal success with his eponymous band Guiffria, which grew into House of Lords.

Co-founder Punky Meadows continues to perform with and without Angel, to this day.
