Clifford Leon Anderson “Andy” Anderson was an English drummer born January 30, 1951. He is most famous for his work in post-punk band, The Cure. He joined the band in 1983 after founding member Lol Tolhurst became the band’s keyboardist. He played on the album, The Top and the live album, Concert: The Cure Live from it’s supporting your. He left after the tour and was replaced by Boris Williams. After he left the band he collaborated with many other artists such as Peter Gabriel and Iggy Pop. He died from terminal cancer on February 26, 2019.
