Andrew Wood

Andrew Wood, born in 1966 was a big influence on the Seattle grunge scene in the late 80’s early 90’s. He was most known for his band he made in 1987 Mother Love Bone, they were glam rock oriented with some grunge sprinkled in. He had another band made in 1980 called Malfunkshun, it was basically the founder of grunge other than the band Green River. He was friends with popular grunge vocalists Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder. He died on March 19th, 1990 from a heroin overdose.
