A well-known figure in the UK House and Techno/Electronica circles, Weatherall (1963–2020) started out as a DJ in Islington, north London and gained notoriety making club remixes with Paul Oakenfold of popular songs by the Happy Mondays and New Order. He went on to form the trio The Sabres of Paradise and multiple own labels. By 1992 he was established as as a fully-formed producer, working with Bjork, Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine and Siouxsie Sioux.
He released his own music under his own label, Rotters Golf Club, in a collaboration with fellow producer Keith Tenniswood known as the Two Lone Swordsmen.
