Amél grew up in a musical family. His father owned a high end audio company, so music was a part of his life from an early age. Following in the footsteps of his older sister, Amél began playing the violin when he was just 9 years old. He spent many years developing his sound, ranging from Future Bounce to Progressive House and looking up to producers such as Alan Walker and Brooks for inspiration.
In 2022, Amél received recognition from EDM icon, Afrojack, and later signed to his label, WALL Recordings in 2023, where he released his debut song on the label, “Close To Me”. But it wasn’t until 2025 where Amél had his first big mainstream breakthrough. This was thanks to his track “Our Time” which he released alongside EDM greats; Martin Garrix, David Guetta, and Afrojack on Spinnin' Records, a song which Afrojack had debuted at Ultra Miami in 2024 .
