Aly El Sayed Amr Fathalla, born on June 10, 1981, discovered his passion for music at a young age, growing up in an artistic family with prominent figures like writer Morsy Saad El Din and legendary musician Baligh Hamdy as grandparents. While his siblings were drawn to weapons, Aly was captivated by musical instruments, and by 16, he had already produced his first dance track. Though his family encouraged him to pursue a stable career, he graduated with a degree in architecture in 2005, all while following his dream of making music. In 2001, while still in college, he began working as an advertising music producer, composing tracks for major brands like 7-Up, Pepsi, and Chipsy. His career later expanded into producing TV themes and channel idents, notably for CBC Egypt in 2011. Aly is also half of the internationally recognized trance duo “Aly & Fila,” whose 2003 hit track gained the attention of legendary DJ Paul Van Dyk and launched their successful careers. The duo now ranks 17th in the DJ world. In 2016, Aly further honed his skills by enrolling at Berklee College of Music, earning three diplomas in 2017-2018. With over 18 years in the industry, Aly remains driven by a philosophy of continuous improvement and believes the best is yet to come.
