About Alus

Pop singer, songstress, musician, and producer Alus stems from a musical background that proves she was destined to be on the stage. Born into a bloodline of musicians, her grandmother graduated from Juilliard and was a successful touring violinist who played with Frank Sinatra’s The Rat Pack , and her father, a drummer and trumpeter. Singing since as early as she could talk, Alus was trained classically in opera at a young age.

Referring to her as a “natural born talent,” Vibe crowns Alus as “sure to become the next thing smokin'.” Performing on stages like SOB’s, Madison Square Garden, the Prudential Center, SXSW, and more, Alus is the all around entertainer; playing guitar and piano, dancing, and singing the songs she has written and engineered herself. After gaining the attention of the world with her covers and mashups on YouTube, her fandom the Alus Army started forming with viral success after Nicki Minaj shared renditions of Alus’s mashups. In 2020, Alus released a new original song every week in a series entitled “52 Shades of Alus.” Her YouTube channel currently boasts a staggering 15 million views and counting.
