Ally Minju is a producer rapper from Los Angeles. Her life changed when she was saved from the depths of depression and suicide by the Holy Spirit. When God led her to leave MIT at a crossroads, she left – even when that meant crumbling familial and cultural expectations, as well as the foundation of prioritizing academia and higher education she had built all her life. When she was kicked out, she lived couch-to-couch in Los Angeles, producing for Petrina DeLacey and JBthaPreacher and worked with them to build up Confirmation Ministries – the only Christian recording studio in Los Angeles. Her stories reflect back on her life at MIT and the challenges of depression, addiction, lust, and greed, as well as moving forward in loving God, others, and embracing her identity – accepting how the Lord has made her in His image as a first-generation, Korean American woman of God. She has now returned to MIT after seasons of preparation, testing, and healing.
