Alistair is an alternative rock band hailing from Phoenix, Arizona. The group was born from the collective efforts of Collin Bashaw, Jack Croom and Nick Antonucci as an outlet for musical creativity. The name Alistair, meaning “Defender of man” was chosen to portray the band’s hard hitting and emotional sound.
While initially debuting as a Progressive Post-Hardcore quartet, the band has taken on a vastly different sound in 2019. The new venture takes cues from grunge, dream-pop, new-wave and shoegaze to create a sonic atmosphere that sets Alistair apart from the rest. With the addition of Jake Randall taking on Bass in late 2018, the group debuted the new venture at Mesa Music Festival being met with positive reception. The band entered the studio in December to record their first full length record set for a 2019 release.
