Ali G is a fictional character created by comedian Sacha Baron Cohen in 1998. Based around an uneducated chav from Staines, he is arguably Sacha’s most popular persona. His girlfriend in the show and film is named ‘Julie’ which led to the song featuring Ali and Shaggy titled ‘Me Julie’.
