Alandreus wrote his first rap verse when he was 14 after hearing his older cousin rap. He only enjoyed rapping when his cousin was around, so Alandreus didn’t take the craft seriously until 6 and half years later when he went to Bluehouse Studios with his friend and fellow rapper, D.O.$. in February 2018. Originally, only going there to learn how to make beats, he ended up in a recording booth rapping a hook. From that point on, Alandreus has released several singles via Soundcloud and is now finishing up his debut EP, currently untitled, which is set to be released in the first quarter of 2020. While having a lot of influences, the Virginia native lists Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR and the now defunct collective, Odd Future as his main influences. Some of his favorite albums to listen to are Brown Sugar by D'Angelo, Graduation by Kanye West & To Pimp a Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar. Alandreus believes his home region, the 757, will play a role in the music scene of the approaching 20s.
