Al’s Band was a short-lived band started by the members of “Weird Al” Yankovic’s backing band (guitarist Jim West, bassist Steve Jay, drummer Jon “Bermuda” Schwartz and keyboardist Rubén Valtierra). They recorded their first and only album in 2008, and then a single, “We’ve Never Played in Hawaii”, in 2009. They never got further than that, to my knowledge.
