AirLeague Band officially formed on August 18, 2020 through the band season of the Chinese audition program 明日之子 (The Coming One) – 明日之子乐团季 (The Coming One: SuperBand) (chronologically, it is the fourth season in the series).
The band is a five-piece band that consists of keyboardist and vocalist Li Runqi (李润祺), drummer Hu Yutong (胡宇桐), vocalist Tian Hongjie (田鸿杰), rapper Zhao Ke (赵珂), and lead singer and electric guitarist Ma Zhe (马哲). The band members also have a hand in writing and composing their own songs.
The band would debut their first single Speed Up on December 1, 2020, with the title track “活于我 (It’s My Life)”.
