Alena Shirmanova-Kostebelova (born December 26, 1999 in Moscow, Russia), known in art as Aiko, is a Czech singer-songwriter currently based in Brighton, United Kingdom.

In 2018, Alena debuted under the stage name Aiko with the release of her self-titled EP.

Two years later, in 2020, Aiko followed with a self-released debut studio album, Expiration Date. The same year, she released her first single, “Hunt”.

Her sophomore studio album, Fortune’s child, was released on 13 October 2023. Later that year, with the final single off the record, “Pedestal”, Aiko took part in Czechia’s ESCZ, in which she emerged victorious, earning the right to represent Czechia at the 2024 edition of Eurovision Song Contest.
