Jay Pittman (born March 17, 2007), mainly known as aeter is an 16-year-old artist from Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

aeter primarily uploads his music on the music platform SoundCloud, where his songs vary from Plugg to Indie & Alternative Rock. He is also known to use “Bandlab” to make his music; an amateur DAW that gained most of it’s traction in 2021.

aeter’s biggest track as of January, 2024 is titled “friends”. The song blew up due to its catchy chorus and upbeat yet gloomy tone. This became the most popular song on aeter’s SoundCloud page as well as his most streamed on Spotify.

Other notable songs include “high”, and “why cant i see u”, why cant i see u being the third and final track on aeter’s first ever released tape titled “2007”. These songs are good examples of aeter being able to show off his versatility as both tracks are Rock/Indie Rock songs; a genre not many in the Underground scene can successfully make.
