Aeneas Williams, commonly known as AENEΛS, and MYSTIC, is an electronic artist from Buffalo, New York. The artist has been making tracks from 2018 under his first artist name, MYSTIC, and later in his courier from under his current identity.

After slowly gaining traction in 2018, MYSTIC released his top song “HOLY” which was later reposted through Bass Nation, one of Trap Nation’s alternate branches. This gave the artist a lot of traction, and marked “HOLY” as one of his staple works.

Midway through 2020, MYSTIC started to debranch off into his new artist identity of AENEΛS, releasing a new track branding his updated identity in early August of the year. According to the artist via a DM, he changed his name to give him a unique identity:

I decided I wanted to rebrand because I wanted a unique name for myself. I changed it about 10 months ago. (message from July 2021)

He also stated from his Instagram’s “Toilet QnA” highlight, the artist states he “wasn’t rockin with MYSTIC anymore” and people like his old name because of how long he’s been known by it.
