About Adrienne Cowan

From Adrienne’s Seven Spires Bio:

Adrienne has played the keyboards for as long as she has been able to sit up, and gave her first singing performance at the age of 3.

By age 5, she was enrolled in classical piano lessons, and quickly developed an interest in musical theatre. At 10, she studied classical guitar for one year, and later traded piano lessons for classical voice lessons. At 14, she enjoyed a brief stint as a pianist in a jazz group in the Netherlands, though she had to be smuggled into the bars they played in. By 16 she had dropped out of high school and quit theatre to pursue her musical studies full time at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, UK. She later graduated from Berklee in ‘17 with a Bachelor’s degree focused in orchestral composition and songwriting.

Adrienne strongly believes in creating art without limits, and in the idea of music as the universal language of the soul. Through years of international annual relocation through the US, UK, and the Netherlands, she found constant solace in music. Her emotionally charged lyrics may be heightened by those lonely times, though as an introspective only child, she has always been drawn to the dark and melancholy. She finds inspiration under night skies and in the shadows of the human condition.

In those precious few moments between musical ventures, Adrienne enjoys mountain hikes, spending time by any shore, and playing jRPGs and games with friends. She also likes cheesy sci-fi and vampire shows, and revels in being laughably awful at violin.
