Adolph Green (1914 – 2002) was a long-time collaborator to the late and great Betty Comden, both of whom are particularly known for their work on On the Town, The Will Rogers Follies, Singin' in the Rain, as well as their additional lyric-work on the 1954 musical Peter Pan.
The duo worked for nearly six decades, ending their long writing career with The Will Rogers Follies in 1991 and remained the greatest of friends until Green’s death in 2002. Their work still stands in the hallway of musical theater, and the duo’s legacy continues to be remembered as one of the greatest in history.
Adolph Green's first song Dear Boy released on Thu Jan 01 1970.
