Abby Sarabia is a rapper/singer/song writer and multi-genre recording artist.
Abby is the daughter of Keary Sarabia and Rita Whitacre. Born in Toledo, Ohio on December 24th, 1996. Both parents also from Toledo, Ohio.
Abby’s interest in music started at an early age. She began to grow a special love for music by being exposed to legendary artist such as Elton John, Michael McDonald , Amy Winehouse, Motown, etc…
Abby’s first stride in the music industry was becoming a local DJ in her hometown at the age of 18. According to her, “I started out by going on Facebook and contacting every bar in my vicinity. I knew I had to start getting my name out there somehow and I was down to do all the dirty work like the late nights, getting underpaid, whatever I needed to get my foot in the door.”
After months of DJing, she saved up enough money to buy all the necessary materials to record herself. Shortly after, she put an end to the bar gigs and stuck to private events.
In February of 2018, Abby released her first single, “Flip The Script”. The single went on to win “Hot 97.3’s Breaking The Glass Contest” 3 times in a row. Resulting in her induction to the “Breaking The Glass Hall Of Fame”.
Shortly after, she continued to bring the heat with her collaborative song “Suppose 2” featuring rapper, Johnny 5.
Since, Abby has gone on to release her other singles including, “U Can’t Steal This”, “Pray 4 U”, and “B0$$$”.
She recently finished up her first album with executive producer Jordan Baywood. She had this to say about the project, “I am super excited about this album, it is long over due. It is 7 songs. This album will be mostly RnB/Hip Hop, of course, Abby Sarabia style. My favorite thing about this project so far is the individual vibe throughout every song. It’s just groovy man and I am so happy to share it with others. I believe I found my sound through this project.”
Abby Sarabia's first song Flip The Script released on Thu Jan 01 1970.
