Aaron Tippin is an American Country music singer, known for his patriotic songs that are said to cater primarily to the American working class. He is often classified as a neotraditionalist country act. In the same year (1990) that Tippin gained a recording contract with RCA Nashville, he saw success when he released his debut single released entitled “You’ve Got to Stand for Something.” This song subsequently became a popular anthem for Soldiers deployed in the Gulf War. Tippin has released a total of nine studio albums and two compilations. In line with his pro-America lyrics and persona, he released the popular album “Stars and Stripes” in 2002, which contains the popular post 9/11 song, written by Tippin, entitled Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly.
