Born and raised in the Valley, the North Hollywood native comes from a long line of artists and entertainers. Since the age of 3, he and his youngest brother, Eli, were always working together under the spotlight for commercials, film sets and TV shows such as Moesha and NYPD Blue.
Their grandfather was the lead singer and founder of the renowned Gospel music group, The Pilgrim Jubilees. Their uncles created The Desires, and both group’s catalogs have been sampled by many artists. By the time Aaron turned 16, he was working professionally as a graphic artist while dabbling in music at the same time. With Eli, the two formed the production company Destiny Music Group, and Aaron released his first instrumental album, “Chilled Coffee” under the artist name “Godson” in 2014.
After winning several contests and getting tracks placed on mixtapes featuring Snoop Dogg and Faith Evans, he formed a collective with his friends and dropped projects, and signed under Republic Records/Palm Tree Entertainment sub label “Akashic Records”, and rebranded under his real name. Since then he’s continued songwriting and producing for artists and labels, and even appeared in a music video by @ReeseLaFlare.
Aaron’s return to the stage saw him performing at fashion shows and with the legendary Wu Tang Clan and Czarface in 2020.
Whether he’s singing, rapping or producing, the soundscape he’s built from his roots in R&B paired with his melodic vocals, remains a family signature.
