Abraham Isaac Quintanilla III, better known as A.B. Quintanilla III is an American record producer and a songwriter. He is the older brother of Mexican-American singer and “Queen Of Tejano Music,” Selena. Growing up, the Quintanilla family struggled to make ends meet. The family, including sisters Selena and Suzette Quintanilla, their father Abraham Quintanilla Jr., and A.B. formed a band called Selena Y Los Dinos in 1980. As a member of Selena Y Los Dinos, A.B. would play bass guitar, produce, and write songs for Selena. Their most successful singles were, “Como La Flor,” “Amor Prohibido,” and “No Me Queda Más.”
