4Block Lil Mari (born Kamari Bonslater in Chicago, Illinois) is an emerging rapper known for his raw energy, melodic street style, and affiliation with the South Side collective 4Block. Growing up in Chicago, Mari was exposed to both the dangers and creativity of his environment, which heavily influenced his music and identity.

At a young age, he began uploading freestyles and snippets that quickly spread across social media, gaining traction for his confident delivery and authentic storytelling. His breakout moment came in early 2025 with the release of “4Block Freestyle,” which showcased his ability to blend aggressive drill cadences with emotional, melodic undertones. Around the same time, he dropped his debut EP, A Reaper’s Diary, solidifying his reputation as one of Chicago’s youngest rising voices in hip-hop.
