Cedric Woosley, professionally known as 211, is a rapper from North Memphis, TN. He started making music alongside Kingpin Skinny Pimp in the early ‘90s and is affiliated with the Gimisum Family and Three 6 Mafia (Backyard Posse).
Back in 1993, Cedric and Skinny dropped two underground tapes which have since become super rare and hard to find—Pimps & Robbers and Controversy. Over the years, the duo worked on a total of three projects together.
211 didn’t stop there—he worked with a bunch of other well-known Memphis artists, such as: Z-Dogg, Lil Gin and Big Hill while also collaborating with some big names from the local “Funkytown” rap scene, including DJ Paul, Juicy J, Al Kapone, DJ Squeeky, and DJ Zirk, among many others.
In the late ‘90s, Cedric announced his and Lil Ced’s collaboration album, Southern G’s, unfortunately, it never ended up being released.
Fast forward to 2001, Cedric released his debut solo album, Ghetto Gangsta, under Lil Ced’s record label, Icywhite Records.
