Rodney Gibson, a.k.a. 2 Eleven, is a rapper hailing from Inglewood, California. Starting as an independent artist, 2Eleven gained recognition with his mixtape Product of the Block before being signed to Jeezy’s label CTE World. Under CTE World, 2Eleven released the mixtape Cold Young Rida and collaborated with several artists like Roccett, Ice Burgundy and Glasses Malone.
2Eleven’s name made headlines when a video went viral showing him and Rosemo 700 involved in a confrontation with rapper Boskoe 100. This altercation stemmed from a Twitter argument between Ice Burgundy of Bricksquad Monopoly and Boskoe 100 back in 2011.
Another notable feud involved 2 Eleven and The Game in 2012 when they clashed at Lil Wayne’s 30th birthday in Hollywood, California. According to 2 Eleven, The Game sucker-punched him from behind before security intervened, whereas The Game’s version of the story differs. Despite the controversies, 2 Eleven has remained focused on his music career and is determined to make a name for himself in the industry.
