Klase Gonzales, AKA 1st Klase, is a multi-platinum billboard producer and the CEO of 1st Klase Records, based in Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago. 1st Klase founder of 1st Klase Records continues to craft and compose the future of Caribbean entertainment as a Music Producer, Dancer, Singer, Song Writer and most recently DeeJay. 1st Klase was signed to Wonda Music in 2012. This being the label of hit producer, Jerry Wonda, who has worked with The Fugees, Shakira, Whitney Houston and Justin Bieber, to name a few of the top names in the business.
With such steady developments, 1st Klase continues pushing the boundaries of his creativity and is not afraid to experiment with different sounds, while blending them with Soca. In fact, 1st Klase is one of the first producers to recognize the similarities between EDM and Soca music, blending the two in his production of “Come Gyal” for Kes the Band in 2011.
His unwavering love for music is the main motivation of this self-taught producer, making him one of the most sought after producers in the industry. And this drive has allowed him to produce for numerous entertainers locally, regionally and internationally. These entertainers include Machel Montano, Bunji Garlin, Kes The Band, Sean Paul, Beenie Man, Vybz Kartel, Konshens, Davis Guetta, Becky G, Ding Dong, Snoop Dogg, Miguel, Busta Rhymes, Major Lazer and many others.
In February 2014, 1st Klase launched his DJ career with his debut performance at Momentum, Carnival 2014 in Trinidad, where he opened for Major Lazer. He also opened for Dj Snake at Momentum 2015, Sunset Festival 2016 and also for Steve Aoki at Life in Colour 2016. 1st Klase is now touring with top female EDM deejay Eva Shaw, making appearances in France, Mexico, USA, Barcelona and China. His most recent achievements include co-writing and producing the Sean Paul hit singles “No Lie”, featuring Dua Lipa, “Gold” featuring Valentino Khan and “Mad Love” featuring David Guetta and Becky G, being certified Double Platinum. Beginning of 2020 1st Klase has already dropped three singles accompanied by music videos from his highly anticipated album Trapikal Gawd released August 2020 and top-rated Evilous Riddim which has over 280,000 views and features nine of the top trending dancehall artistes from Trinidad and Tobago .1st Klase has amassed over 2 billion impressions on social media.
