Scott looked back at me and said

Scott smiles, I burst through a restaurant
To their kitchen back door
The cooks look up startled as I trip across the floor
"You used to be so good at getting out of things, Scott
How come you never taught me that goddamn trick?"
Outside the restaurant, we're sizing up the fence
