“Letting You Go” is an upbeat song about learning to let go of an old relationship. Despite the person wanting to get back with their ex-partner and regretting their choice, the other half is not interested anymore. “Letting You Go” is the first single from XBLUESKIES' debut album.

[Verse 1]
You've been gone for a while
And my heart's still battered
I’ve been trying to move on
From all the shit that’s going on
But I can't get you out of my mind
[Pre Chorus]
You're stuck in my heart
I can barely control my mind
And it's so fucking hard
To sleep at night
Without your body on mine
[Chorus]
Cause I miss you
I still miss you, baby
And I need
And I need you now
I promise I regret it
I regret it every day
I regret letting you go
[Drop]
Letting, go
[Verse 2]
Pretending like everything's fine
Can't keep up with the lies
Looking through our memories
Feeling just a bit hazy
About what's gonna happen next
[Pre Chorus]
You're stuck in my heart
I can barely control my mind
And it's so fucking hard
To sleep at night
Without your body on mine
[Chorus]
Cause I miss you
I still miss you, baby
And I need
And I need you now
I promise I regret it
I regret it every day
I regret letting you go
[Drop]
Letting, go
Letting, you go
Letting, go
[Bridge]
I need you to stay with me
Cause' without you I'm lost at sea
And there is nobody
Who I want to call "baby"
[Pre Chorus]
You're stuck in my heart
I can barely control my mind
And it's so fucking hard
To sleep at night
Without your body on mine
[Drop]
I regret letting you go
[Outro]
Letting, go
Letting you go
Letting, go

“Letting You Go” is like a new beginning for me. After “Pieces”, I took time off making original music as I ran out of inspiration and decided to slow down for a bit. Over time, I think I made a huge improvement and I was finally ready to produce original songs.
The burning rose on the cover art represents the abrupt and painful end of a blossoming relationship. The VHS effect represents and puts in perspective how much time has passed since the break-up.
