[Intro]
‘Cause boys don't cry
[Verse 1]
I see a pain behind your eyes
I know you feel it everyday
It’s like a light that slowly dies
But it’s better not to say
It's better not to say such things out loud
Just close your eyes and bite your tongue for now
Don’t let them see you fall
[Chorus]
‘Cause boys don’t cry
'Cause boys don't cry
'Cause boys don't cry
‘Cause boys don’t cry
[Verse 2]
You feel an emptiness inside
How it sinks into your soul
But it’s nothing you can’t hide
Just forget about it all
Forget about the hole beneath your skin
That’s swallowing the best of you within
Don’t let them see you fall
[Chorus]
‘Cause boys don’t cry
'Cause boys don't cry
'Cause boys don't cry
‘Cause boys don’t cry
[Bridge] x4
Stay strong, hold on
You’ve got to keep it together now
[Chorus]
‘Cause boys don’t cry
'Cause boys don't cry
'Cause boys don't cry
‘Cause boys don’t cry

We’ve still never met Saxl Rose, not in person. We’re just huge fans of his work and the bands he performs with, and we just knew if there was ever a time to collab it’s on this project. He was a fan already, we were fans,...
Vocalist Patty Walters spoke about the song in an interview with Rock Sound:
We started ‘'The Stigma’‘ where it was this idea to make it like an 80s pop song, to really make homage to Boys Don’t Cry by The Cure and kinda make it feel a little bit more fitting like that.
